How do our grants work?
The St George Dragon Trust is a small, unique charity that makes grants to provide people with a more comfortable living environment. Grants of up to £500 are given to help homeless people who have been in communal accommodation as they embark on independent living in their own homes.
This consists chiefly of grants to purchase essential furnishings and appliances and advice on where to obtain the best value for money. The trust has helped over 600 people in this way since its inception.
A detailed application form is completed by the organisation representing the individual who would be receiving the grant. These grants are given under circumstances where the trustees feel they will make a difference to the circumstance of the recipient. Please download the form using the link below.
Funding
The grants are funded donations and by the assets of the trust which is maintained through sound investment. If you can, please donate here.
